Versace collaborates with the Haas Brothers

Versace Haas Brothers Collaboration HERO MAGAZINE

LA-based furniture design duo The Haas Brothers, who previously created a special collection for Versace Home unveiled at Salone del Mobile in Milan in April 2013, are at it again.

Embracing the Italian approach of more-is-more-less-is-bore, now everyone can have a slice of the pie without having to fork out for the ‘Donatella Chair’ or ‘Bondage Bench’.

This second realisation of Versace through the eyes of Simon and Nikolai Haas again encapsulates the trademark Medusa Medallion within honeycomb patterned gold plating – used on accessories such as a leather belt, mounted cuffs, a tie pin, card holders and an iPhone 5 case.

Unisex T-shirts and Surf shorts come printed in a vibrant collage of elements from the collection; with hand-drawn fur seen under a Medusa-strewn collage of  multi-colored animal prints and images of gold spotted leopards.

Donatella Versace says, “I am thrilled to be working with the Haas Brothers on this special curator project. I love how they take the codes of Versace and bring them somewhere new, pushing Versace forward into a whole other world.”

Snap it up at the Versace boutiques in SoHo NYC, Paris, Shanghai & Beijing Sanlitun, or online at us.versace.com.
