People, in general, love a queue – whenever a phone launches with a new button, the sleeping bags are unrolled and they’re out in force. It goes for H&M’s heavy-hitting series of collaborations too, taking in the likes of Versace, Comme des Garçons and Maison Martin Margiela.

The latest guest of the Swedish giant, launching bright and early this Thursday, 14th November, is Isabel Marant – and it’s a partnership worth putting a brave face on for.

Casting Clément Chabernaud (fresh from HERO 10) and Christopher Owens amongst a smoking female cast including Daria Werbowy, Lou Doillon and Saskia de Brauw, this one should be on your radar not only the fact there’s loads of great knitwear but also because it’s the first time Marant has given her name to a menswear line.

Drawing on the bohemian spirit of her womenswear, there’s a very clear relationship between both offerings – they’re essentially the same, neither shackled by masculinity or indeed feminine, instead a throw-it-together collection of texture and contrast. Bon. Jour.
