Benjamin Jarvis took to the smartphone for us this week, documenting his personal trip through the workings of DKNY’s first LC:M presentation, for SS15.

The Brit model, who was shot by Thomas Cooksey for HERO #9, brought his shock-value platinum mop to the floor for a show that was all about big moves: a sizeable step for the through-and-through New York brand and what symbolised an equally mega moment for the British menswear industry. Big (American) guns rising.

We also caught Ben backstage for a few cheeky words when the clock stopped and the corks started popping…

Tempe Nakiska: So how was it all?
Benjamin Jarvis: It was so great. The team are absolutely wicked. I really appreciate being involved because DKNY is a brand that still has huge charisma, you know? They’ve got personality. The music was great too. I just want to party now!

TN: What are your plans?
BJ: I’ve got another casting, then I’m going to get pissed here!

TN: What are your thoughts on such a New York centric brand showing over here?
BJ: That’s the thing! It’s such a patriotic brand, I was confused at first but everyone turned up and it was brilliant.

TN: It’s been a big day already, right?
BJ: Yeah it’s been manic, I wasn’t expecting this. Four shows, two castings, I’m shattered. But I’m gonna party through…

TN: And what tunes got you through?
BJ: My iPod’s pretty shameful to be honest! I was rocking to a bit of Rihanna earlier, Beyonce may have come on… it’s all good.
