Last night saw the launch of Diesel Black Gold’s new London store on Conduit Street.

The space is the first in the brand’s roll-out of its new global retail concept, the launch signalling its steadily growing international presence as a key luxury player.

Designed by Pierre Beucler and Jean Christophe Poggioli (of Architecture and Associés), staggered lighting and bare concrete surfaces materialise a raw feel appropriate to the Italian brand’s visual language.

That London is the brand’s first stop during a week that has seen the likes of Moschino and DKNY debut at LC:M further signals the industry’s fast growing pull.
