Paul Smith is keeping the summer alive with a series of live in store performances, starting with Oscar in London

From Jimi Hendrix to Brian Jones, Paul Smith consistently finds influence in rock music’s stylish icons – think back to Sir Paul’s effortlessly cool Jim Morrison inspired FW14 collection.

This inherent knit between music and fashion runs deep in the brand’s ethos. Expanding on this, Paul Smith is bringing some of the most exciting nascent talent to the world’s fashion capitals in a series of intimate, exclusive events to be held at Paul Smith stores in London, Milan, Paris and New York.

Tonight London’s Beak Street store welcomes singer/songwriter Oscar Scheller, AKA Oscar. His rich baritone croons through a melodic electro fuzz – picture Morrissey fronting The Strokes with Jamie xx on production.

A week later head to the Floral Street location and check out Fryars’ textured production, soundscapes awash with exquisite layers of sound. Kele (formally of Bloc Party fame) will be performing at the Milan store, New York hosts the tranquil Tei Shi, whilst brother sister duo Singtank’s melancholic pop can be heard live at the Paris store. Each performance will take place against the backdrop of new season Paul Smith collections.

Oscar plays tonight, Thursday 11th September from 6.30-8.30pm at Paul Smith Beak Street, 46 – 48 Beak Street, London W1F 9RJ.
