Bottega Veneta have released their Resort 2014/15 advertising campaign and film in collaboration with American photographer Ryan McGinley, as part of the house’s ongoing ‘Art of Collaboration’ project.

Photographed on location at the New York Botanical Garden, the film sees McGinley’s signature romantic, colour saturated spin put to the men’s and women’s collections’ painterly tones and bleached dying techniques.

“I have been a great admirer of Ryan McGinley’s work for some time now,” said Bottega Veneta Creative Director Tomas Maier in a release. “His images have not only energy and movement, but often a slightly surreal, dreamlike quality that I thought would be an intriguing match with this collection.”

The project, which last season saw legendary British photographer David Sims tapped to get behind the lens, has also seen past partnerships with the likes of Nick Knight, David Armstrong, Nan Goldin, Peter Lindbergh, Collier Schorr, Robert Longo, Annie Leibovitz and Sam Taylor-Wood.
