Alexander Wang has announced its first European flagship to open in London in the summer of 2015.

The Mayfair location is a major addition to the brand’s retail roll call, which currently comprises 18 stores worldwide including its own e-commerce site shipping to more than 50 countries.

Located at 43-44 Albemarle Street, the space will span 6500 square feet, according to a report on central London retail by British estate agents Knight Frank.

This is the latest step in the gradual transformation of this gallery and art dealer heavy strip, which last year saw a major extension of the pre-existing Paul Smith Store on the Albemarle and Stafford Street corner.
