Mr Hare for your head: the London shoemaker drops an exclusive collab with New Era
By Tempe Nakiska | Fashion | 3 December 2014

As if collaborating with Selfridges, Liberty and Mr Porter on high and low tops, a skate sneaker and t-shirt range wasn’t enough for 2014, Mr Hare has gone and dropped a new product bomb – this time with two exclusive headwear styles with New Era.

The stone cold classic pieces rise up as a 59FIFTY cap and bucket hat and are stamped with the London shoe brand’s signature ‘Double Exclamation’ logo, trimmed with Kelly green and lined with Mr Hare logo printed satin. Slick.

“Up until now we have only made high quality men’s shoes which naturally makes what we do very exclusive,” says designer Marc Hare (AKA Mr Hare) of his ethic, which sees the best Italian leathers used in the construction of both all styles, from dress to street (read: top shelf sneaks). “Working with New Era on a couple of very rare pieces means we can spread a little bit more of that Mayfair magic around.”

The New Era collab also backs up a year of physical expansion for Mr Hare, its new position in Notting Hill having opened doors just a couple of months back. You can grab yourself this headgear there, or at the original Mr Hare location in Mayfair – or online at the Mr Hare website. Get in quick: with the styles limited to a run of 144, these numbers won’t be hanging ‘round for long.
